More than 20 years experience working on a full range of marine, shipyard, and construction management projects.  A large portion of that time spent in the Middle East, West Africa, and Azerbaijan.  Experience includes management, business development, project management, joint venture development, contract administration, estimating,  equipment surveys, budget development, vessel repair/refurbishment, engineering supervision. Many jobs included P&L budget responsibility and/or marketing.

• Lead position in the negotiation and creation of Azeri joint venture MacDock
• Deputy Director for shipyard joint venture that carried out more than $90 million in work
• Effective team leader in developing MOA documents for inspection of Azeri oil fleet
• Negotiated contracts in marine construction, shipyard, and industrial venues
• Director of  Associates degree business program for a technical school
• Proven equipment survey and estimating skills in more than $200 million in work
• Project manager for $50 million refurbishment of derrick/lay barge
• Construction manager in installation of 5000 ton shear leg crane on a launch barge
• Accomplished fabrication yard superintendent in Nigeria
• Introduced and maintained Western standards for quality control and safety in Azerbaijan
• Highly developed cultural diversity based on successful expatriate positions in many countries
• Successful operations manager in a full range marine support company
